FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Where do we deliver?
We deliver right across Australia and also send overseas from time to time. Most items are happy to be packed up and sent long distances but for fruit, veg and other chilled / frozen lines we have to look at transit times before sending them out. Usually this means the more perishable fruit and veg lines can be delivered to Sydney, ACT, Central Tablelands, Riverina, Southern Coast NSW and as far as Gosford. Non perishable lines can be sent across Austalia.

How do we deliver?
Depending on where you live you can chose from a range of delivery options at checkout. This usually means Australia Post across the majority of Australia and local couriers in NSW and ACT. You can also pick up in store if you live in the local area - giving you the advantage of having the order packed for you but saving freight costs.

How much is freight?
We work to keep freight costs as low as possible. This usually means standard Australia Post rates across most areas and courier rates for NSW and ACT. With the increasing popularity of this site we hope to be able to even further reduce / subsidise freight costs and offer online in the near future.

What do I do if I have a problem?
Contact Us. We want you to be happy and work hard on our customer service - without you we wouldn't be here! We don't find many problems but when we do hear from you we do our best to resolve any problems on the spot.

Can I Afford Organic Food?
We think that you can't afford not to - and when you look at the goodness in every organic fruit or vegetable compared to conventionally farmed foods it isn't actually that much more expensive. In fact many of the organic lines we sell in this store are cheaper than their conventional counterparts in the regional supermarkets.

Why Choose Organic?
There are lots of great reasons to choose organics...here are just a few of them, courtesy of the BFA:

Why is organic certification important?
The only way to distinguish between a genuine certified organic product and a non-organic product, is to check for an organic certification logo and number on the product label. When shopping online check the product that you are purchasing clearly states the certifier of the product and if in doubt you can ask for proof.

WholeFood Central is a certified organic retailer and wholesaler. Therefore you can rest assured that the organic produce you received are of the highest quality and meet the stringent organic standands set by the various certifers in Australia.
