For Fruit, Now is the worst time for fruit as the apples season is ending and the stonefruit season has not begin. Fuji apple is STILL avail but it will come from Tassie. Unfortunately, Forest Apples are now completely finished for the season. All apples are off the trees for quite some time and may be disappointing in terms of crunch and colour. Please bear this in mind when you order. All the other apples varieties are off the tree and MUST be stored in the fridge. Emperor mandarins from Wallis are ending soon! Direct from local grower and on SPECIAL. They look ugly but taste great! Order with confidence. Most of the East coast has experienced alot of rain last week. So quite a few lines are affected. Strawberries from Pim on special this week due to grower's special! Lemonade from Fraser are here and they look like a big round lemon, but can be eaten like an orange. Taste is great. Order with confidence. Avocadoes on special and they are the best now. Strawberries are great now from Pim. They are the best in the market. Avocadoes from Red Hill, Apples from Forrest Orchards, Navel Oranges from Wallis, Lemons from Euerka, Pineapples from Top End have all been really good. Banana from Dole has been excellent. Round Beans from Mahaffey are great this week but a little exp. Very crunchy. Order with confidence. Broccoli and cauliflower are still coming on fine. English Spinach from Cremona has been excellent. But as they are delicate, pls remember to inspect your bunch before putting it in the fridge. Also, take out the elastic band to ensure there is not damage to the leaves and then store in an airtight container in the fridge. Cherry tomatoes are need to be inspected first as the grower received a lot of rain. Please remove the spolit tomatoes asap. Capsicum from Mexborough are super sweet and they should be an ‘eat first item’. Corn is back so order with confidence as they are really sweet. Also silverbeet and Asian greens will come direct from local certified growers. FRESHNESS. BTW, in terms of the carrots. If yours taste a little bitter, please contact us. Since it is of a new season. This should not be the case. We stand by our freshness and quality gurantee!
